First thing I sold!!!

This is the first Photo I sold.

It was taken outside of Ocean City in Maryland.

Final Assignment

This is my Final Assignment. I had planned to go to Fredericksburg to take some pictures. Unfortunately the weather and other things didn't cooperate. I changed my idea and ended up taking most of these pictures in a park called Difficult Run. The other couple pictures are from a Capitals game and a random flower. I think the central theme would be how light effects pictures.

The first picture is a flower that I thought looked beautiful. The light is coming through it and you get a good sense of the texture of the petals. I also like that it is the only thing that is illuminated.


The second picture was taken outside the Portrait Gallery in Washington. I like the depth of field and the way that you can still see people but the sun obscures most of the details.



This picture was at the Capitals game. I like the sense of action in this shot.




These last shots are all from Difficult Run. This was interesting because the day I took these it alternated between being sunny and cloudy. I got a lot of interesting shots since the light was constantly changing.

Geese Swimming.


I like the variety of color in the water.


I like the reflection of the bridge on the water even though the actual bridge is obscured.

I like the different shades of light in this picture.
